Thanksgiving Day Parade

November 21, 2022

Come see the ONLY Thanksgiving Day Parade in Arizona and West of the Mississippi! Grab your family and friends and head on over to the Avenue of the Fountains in beautiful downtown Fountain Hills. Bring a chair or blanket and stake out your spot early so you can enjoy floats, horses, performances, and much more!

This time-honored tradition, and local hometown favorite, has lasted 38 years and draws spectators from across the state who love a good classic parade. This year, the festivities start at 9:30AM and last about an hour. The event is free and free parking will be offered.

Each year a theme is selected for the parade and participants are encouraged to decorate their floats to match this theme. This year’s theme is: Holiday Movie Magic!

There is much to see here, including a few dozen floats that feature local businesses, service organizations, classic car clubs, troops, and school groups. Dance routines abound and are sure to impress!

Join your neighbors in our enchanting downtown area and celebrate all you are thankful for this year at the Fountain Hills Thanksgiving Day Parade!

This year, the event’s finale will include a visit from Santa Claus himself for the first time ever! Make sure to stick around at the end to give Santa a wave!
